Alfredo Arambula was born in Ocotlan Jalisco, Mexico on November 28, 1931 to the late Maria Diaz (Arambula) Gomez and Salvador Arambula Lomeli. He married Maria Guadalupe on June 24, 1951 in Mexico. He worked as a bricklayer in Mexico, then moved into construction when he decided to relocate his family and himself to Kansas in 1978. Alfredo enjoyed his cigarette breaks, watching novelas and tending to the gardening his wife left behind. Crushing cans was a hobby he also enjoyed. Every time anyone would stop by to visit he would offer a squirt or a Pepsi that he always had in his cooler in the back of his van……ALWAYS on ice!!!!. Ball caps and Tejanas were a favorite for Alfredo, as he had a variety to choose from and always wore them proudly. Even after retirement age he maintained busy, working for Savutes Italian Ristorante for over 10+ years and he would always speak highly of his boss, Pete. Due to his debilitating health, the past 2 years he resided at Meridian Rehabilitation where he spent many unforgettable memories with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alfredo leaves behind 7 living children; 30 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren. He will be missed and remembered by many and “LOVED BY ALL”!!
