Anastacia Camille Watson was born on March 29, 1983 to Vannessa M. Bennett and James L. Watson. Ana was the youngest girl of 6 siblings. She went to school and grew up in Wichita, Kansas. Anastacia accepted Christ at an early age and joined Gloryland Missionary Baptist Church, where she fellowshipped until the day God called her home.
She worked as a home health aide and had many talents; such as being a fashionista, doing hair, and cooking. Ana was also known for her compassion to whoever was in need; from a ride, something to eat, someone to talk to, and occasionally would help with a place to stay. Even though “Ana” was not able to have children of her own, she did adopt two of her great nephews, whom she adored and cherished; Zay’len Duckens and Niam Johnson.
Anastacia is preceded in death by her father James L. Watson; brother DeAngelo L. Watson and nephew Lavontrist M. Duckens.
Anastacia leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Vannessa M. Bennett; adopted great nephews Zay’len Duckens and Niam Johnson of Wichita, Kansas; sister Astreia Duckens of Wichita, Kansas; brothers John L. Watson of Ventura, California, and Duall Watson and Destin Watson of Wichita, Kansas. Anastacia also leaves to cherish her memory her off and on life
partner David Swain, 15 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, other family members, church family, and many, many close friends.
