Arnold Lee (Orville) Baker was born on November 19, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas. He was born to Willie Baker & Birdie Baker. Arnold attended Wichita Public Schools and graduated from Southeast High School. Arnold enlisted into the United States Army after graduation and became skilled in several military fields.
He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Morning Chapel Baptist Church. As an adult he served in various roles at the church. After leaving the army Arnold worked as a truck driver and spent countless hours driving across the country delivering truck loads. He loved spending time with his family, going to the movies and was a huge model trains hobbyist. He never met a stranger, and he enjoyed helping other veterans from other branches of service.
Arnold is preceded in death by his parents Willie Baker & Birdie Baker. His grandparents and his brothers Willie Earl Baker, William E. Baker Sr. and Sandy A. Baker & his sister Willie Mae Baker.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children, three brothers: Vincent Baker, James Baker and Victor Baker; one sister Linda (Roderick) Lewis, along with Mary Baker (wife), an aunt, uncle and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends all who will miss him dearly.
