Charles M. Nesser "U.S. Navy"

Charles Michael Nesser was born on December 23, 1954 in Marion, Kansas to Lou Jean (Nienstedt) Nesser and Charles A. Nesser.
He preferred to be called Mike and joined the Navy upon graduating from high school. During the end of the Vietnam War, Mike assisted
refugees from Saigon on the Midway carrier. He was honorably discharged from the Navy after 4 years. In 1977 he married Pamela Grantham
and they had 2 daughters born in Bellingham. He married a second time to former wife Andressa. Over the years Mike earned his Associates
in Arts and Sciences degree from Whatcom Community College and worked for Unifl ite and other skilled labor.

His parents, 2 brothers and a sister predeceased him.

Mike attended Immanuel Bible Church when he lived in Bellingham.

He is survived by daughters Sarah Tilson and Dr. Stephany Silldor (Brad), 4 grandsons Tyler, Jaden, Noah, Brody.

Mike passed away on October 20, 2021 of lung and
liver cancer with pneumonia.

A family memorial was
planned with Central Avenue
Funeral Services of Wichita,
Kansas. Mike was laid to rest
at Maple Grove on October
23.
