Clayton O. Hall "Clay" was born April 24, 1924 in Whitewater, Ks. and received his wings to heaven on February 16, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Naomi and Guy Hall; sisters, Newell Hall, Doris Kennedy, Wanda Cosentino, Audrey Hopkins; brothers, Duane and Clifford Hall; one son-in-law, Steve Anderson and his beloved wife, Emily (Biewener) Hall after 57 years of marriage. Clay leaves behind 3 sisters, Nancy Steffan, Clara DeHaven, Janice Bair (Orval); 2 daughters, Naomi Anderson, Cathy Ratanamorn; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Anderson (Stephanie), Lindsey (Anderson) Brittain (Chris), Kimberly Ratanamorn, Craig Ratanamorn (Lisa Gawronski) and 9 great-grandchildren.
Clay taught at North High School beginning in 1955 and had been the Dept. Industrial Arts Chair for the past 20 years until he retired in 1986. Clay was a WWII Veteran and fought as a marine and received the purple heart. He enjoyed oil and acrylic painting, gardening and being in his workshop building all sorts of projects - big and small. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife both domestically and abroad and square dancing. Clay loved to be outdoors and helping his friends and neighbors. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's many school and community activities. He was a man true to his word and a handshake was his commitment to you. He remained faithful to Jesus and regularly volunteered at his church until he no longer was physically able. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at Risen Savior Lutheran Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 26th at 10:30 AM at Risen Savior Lutheran Church located at 6770 E. 34th St. No., Wichita, Ks. 67226.
