Debra Ann McCarrell, 71, of Wichita, KS passed away at Wesley Medical Center on July 11th, 2022.
Debra was an accomplished artist, author, an intellectual. She engaged in a number of creative endeavors and enjoyed drawing, knitting, crocheting, tatting, and macrame, she was also master seamstress and pattern maker. Her easy smile, quirky humor, tell it like it is attitude, and ability to engage in high level conversation in just about any subject will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Carl R. Garrett and Mildred J. Taylor, daughter Leila Abraham; siblings Sheridan Garrett, and Regina Rauls.
She is survived by her daughter Elona Carroll, sons Stacy and Nathan McCarrell, and brothers Carl, Kenneth, Everett, and Tony Garrett, and Timothy Butler, sisters Ida Mahan and Cheryl Fields, Uncle Allen Kelly, and a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be held at the Spirit Boeing Employees Association, 4226 S Gold St, Wichita, KS 67217 at 12 pm on Thursday, July 21st.
