Doyle A Boyd

Doyle Andrew Boyd, son of the late William and Bernice Boyd was born in Wichita Falls, TX on October 27, 1953.  He came to know the Lord at an early age.  He later became an ordained minister at Holy Chapel Baptist Church in Compton, CA.  He also sang in the choir at Holy Chapel as the leader singer.

Doyle attended Rider High School in Wichita Falls, TX where he graduated in 1972.  He moved to Des Moines, IA in 1989 where he attended college for computer engineering.  He had a geographical move to Los Angeles, CA in 1993 and continued his education, enabling him to receive his Bachelors of Science degree in computer engineering.  He was a hard working man.  He retired from AT&T in 2018.

He was a black belt in Karate and enjoyed riding his bike, reading, watching basketball and football and he also liked watching western movies.

Preceding Doyle in death are his parents William and Bernice; his brothers William Jones and Harold Brown Jr.; his daughter Ontashia Collie Brewer (Tisha).

Doyle leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters Elder Jennifer Collie and God sister Norma Palimore; daughters; Latoya Collie of Arlington, TX; Phylisha (Phy) Carroll Modisett (Jerome) of Dallas, TX; Patrice Campbell (James) of Houston, TX; don Darrell McCarthy of Wichita Falls, TX; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
