Ena Joyce (Gilmore) Reed was born on Monday, May 31, 1954, in Shawnee, OK to parents, Fred and Ruth (Wagoner) Gilmore. Ena accepted Christ at an early age. The Gilmore family moved to Wichita, KS in the late 1960’s. Joyce (her preferred name) then attended Wichita Public Schools and graduated from North High School in 1972. Joyce began working in the dry-cleaning business and retired as the managers of both, McConnell Air Force Base and Martinizing Dry Cleaners in Wichita, Kansas. Joyce is a former member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Tommy L. Wade. She later joined her current church, Mt. Sinai Non-Denominational Church and has been a faithful servant under the leadership of Pastor Clifford Parker until she was physically unable to. Joyce LOVED her church and her church family.
