Gene is survived by sons Bryant Currie (Celes) and Vincent Currie; daughter Kriste (co-co) Dunbar; brothers Allen Dunbar (Rosie), Charles Dunbar, Wardell Dunbar, Carl Dunbar, Curtis Dunbar and Terry Dunbar; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
