James Earl Patrick was born on Thursday, March 2, 1966 in Wichita, KS to Osie Patrick and Evelyn (Moore) Patrick. James attended the Wichita Public Schools and received his HS diploma later in life. James met Joye Meigs who was the love of his life for 27 years. James also earned certificates for mastering several different areas of trade. James worked several jobs in and around Wichita, KS. James was a Jack -of -all -trades, but his heart was with training dogs, working on cars, swimming, riding motorcycles and horses. On Tuesday, October 17, 2023 James Earl "Pitbull" Patrick transitioned from earth to eternity from Wichita, KS.
He is preceded on this journey by his father Osie Patrick Sr; sister Valerie Adkins; grandmothers Viola Horner (Mama) and Mary Bell; grandfathers Osie Patrick, DeWitt Horner and Cecile Horner; uncles Odies Horner Sr, Edna Edwards Jr, Alvin Horner, Calvin Horner Sr and Edward Horner; nephews Joseph Terry King, Calvin Horner and Otis Horner Sr.
James leaves to hold dear his lifetime memories his wife of 27 years, Joye Patrick; mother Evelyn Jordan (Daniel); children, Sarita Mallory and DeShawn Patrick, Ebonee Silmon, Lakeisha Mallory, Tery Meigs and Kery Meigs; sisters, Osie Rena Patrick, CoCo and Debra Walker; brothers, Osie Patrick (Nicole), Tommy Beard, Tracey Walker, and Thomas Cooper; 11 grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends who will truly miss James
