Karl D. Montgomery was born March 30, 1971 and left this earth surrounded by family on May 6, 2024. Karl was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan who loved watching football, traveling, movies and spending time with his family and many friends. He traveled the country for work with The Carpenters Union, Local #201 where he worked most of his adult life as a millwright.
Karl is survived by his wife, Brandi Rumbo; daughter, Kierra Montgomery; son Brandon Montgomery; mother, Jean Babcock; brother, Curtis Holmes (Karen); sister Kathi Hale-Petrosky (Chuck); twin sister Karla Sharp (Nick); sister Vickie Choate (Tom); sister Karen Coffin; brother Bob Montgomery; brother Jimmy Montgomery; many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Howard Montgomery; step-father George Mathiesen; brothers, Donald Keller, Franklin Holmes Jr. and Parke Montgomery.
Karl was well loved by his family, numerous friends and co-workers and will be greatly missed.
