Karoti Byamunga Bertin

Karoti Bertin Byamungu was born on May 2, 1987 in the city of Bukavu, in the South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of Congo from the union of Marasi Kitumaini Raymond, his father, and Marasi Ntakwindja Marceline, his mother.  He was born in a family of 10 children, including three girls and seven boys.  Bertin was the 4th child.  From 1991 to 1998 Bertin attended elementary school at Cinema School in Bukavu; then between 1999 and 2006 he attended high school at the Mikeno Institute of Goma in the North Kivu Province.  Bertin loved soccer and played for Goma's Volacno Team.  in 2008, after graduating high school, Bertin traveled to Kenya; from there, he immigrated to the United States of America.  

Sadly Bertin passed away on October 2, 2022 in Wichita, KS.  He left behind three children ( one girl and two boys), who all live in Congo.
