LaTonja Shugart

LaTonja Renee Shugart was born on Wednesday June 10, 1970 in Wichita, KS to Donna Gilchrist and Percy Shugart. LaTonja was the youngest of 8 children (4 boys and 4 girls) born to this union.

LaTonja worked as a care giver for many years. She Was Very Smart You Could Ask her just About anything and she knew it or knew where to get the answer. LaTonja was a God fearing
woman and could read that Bible better than most. To know laTonja is to know she loved her grandkids. She was the best “Gma” to Azaylah Smith and Kayana Shugart.

LaTonja was the definition of a true hustler. She made a way out of no way. LaTonja was loved by so many of her nieces that you couldn’t tell which was her favorite.

LaTonja is preceded in death by her beloved son KeJuan Shugart; loving parents Donna Gilchrist and Albert Fisher; brothers Michael Shugart and Fred Fisher.

LaTonja leaves to cherish her memories her daughters TaJa Shugart and Alize` Matthews (TeJuon); her special friend Antwan Hervey; her best friend Alisa Magness (Baby Mom); her
brothers Steven Shugart (Sheila), Charles Shugart and Greg Fisher; her sisters Regina Shugart, Cynthia Hall (Joe), Michelle Edwards, Tonja Fisher and Rhonda Newton; 2 grandchildren
Azaylah Smith and Kayana Shugart; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
