Lonnie Bell was born January 3, 1962 in Philadelphia, MS to John Lee Bell and Willie B. Rogers. Lonnie accepted Jesus Christ at a young age.
Lonnie relocated to Wichita, KS with his family and attended Heights High School, graduating in 1980. Lonnie was a phenomenal basketball player at Heights. Lonnie also had a passion for taking pictures and was well known for being the camera man at Celebrities and Club International. He previously worked as a bell boy for the Airport Hilton and recently retired from Coleman.
Lonnie is preceded in death by his father John Lee Bell; mother Willie B. Autry; stepfather James W. Autry; brothers L.C. Bell, Delane Bell; sisters Willow Dean Bell and Vernell Lynn Bell.
Lonnie is survived by his brothers JaDell Bell (Cynthia), Johnnie Bell (Josephine); all of Wichita, sisters Bonnie Patrick, Ola Mae Perez and Grace Bell all of Moss Point, MS; step-brothers Curtis, Julius, James and David Autry all of Wichita; step-sisters Gerline Horton and Earline Sexton both of Wichita; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him.
