Michael Hawkins

 Michael was born on November 7, 1958 in Wichita, KS to Dorothy M. Batson and Edgar Hawkins.  Michael went to Wichita East High School and after high school he went into the US Army.  After leaving the Army he was employed at Safelite Auto Glass in Wichita.  Michael was very comical and kept everyone laughing.  He also had a great memory; he could remember things from when we were small children.  His favorite foods were bologna sandwiches and hotdogs.  He loved Kool-Aid and would only drink tap water.  In the 70's Michael was known as a great roller skater.  He also would call his family 7 days a week; sometimes 2 or 3 times a day just to talk.  

He is preceded in death by his parents Dorothy M. Batson and Edgar Hawkins; his son Robert Martin; sisters Valerie Beach and Allie Batiste.

Michael is survived by his siblings Carolyn Jean Rizzo, Margaret Thompson, Carol Juniel, Robert Juniel, Betty Juniel-Ramson and Deborah Lawson-Junior; 2 aunts, 1 uncle and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
