Shawn Gomez

Shawn Gomez was born December 18, 1992 to parents Margaret Lopez and Lorn Smith Jr.  Shawn was born and raised in Wichita, KS and attended West High School. He was the oldest of his 7 siblings Adrian Cisneros Jr, Juan Cisneros, Dominic Roman, Brianna Roman, Julian Roman, Hunter Smith, and Erin Smith. 

Shawn was a very protective and loyal friend who you could always count on. It didn’t matter where you were or what you needed, if you called Shawn he would be there. Shawn was very giving,  enjoyed helping others and making them laugh. Shawn especially loved his mother Margaret.  Fernando played a big part in Shawn's life and for 18 years he helped raise Shawn and took part in shaping him into the man that he became.

Shawn really enjoyed his position as a Hibachi chef. He did an excellent job as it came to him so naturally . He had big dreams; one being  to own a food truck and eventually owning his own restaurant.  Shawn was blessed with two beautiful children; his son Adriel Gomez and his daughter Amaya Gomez.

Shawn was a big Raiders fan and really enjoyed fishing. Shawn had told is father Lorn that the most peaceful times he ever had were fishing, especially at the Sand Pit with his father. May he forever rest in peace.

Shawn is survived by his parents Margaret( Fernando) Lopez and Lorn Smith Jr; son Adriel Gomez; daughter Amaya Gomez; and siblings Adrian Cisneros Jr, Juan Cisneros, Dominic Roman, Juian Roman, Brianna Roman, Hunter Smith, and Erin Smith.
