Tammy Sue Francis was born April 16, 1969 in Miami, Dade County, Florida to Patricia (Watkins) Francis and Ronald Francis.  She was married/divorced and went by Tammy Thornburg; however, she had always wanted to take her maiden name back but didn’t want to spend the money to do it.  She is preceded in death by her father. Survived by mother, siblings Ronald Francis, David Francis, Donald Francis, Gerald Francis and Patricia (Francis) Brown, in-laws, and many nieces and nephews and her dog, Juliette.  She was a member of the West Broad Missionary Chapel in Columbus, Ohio, East Point Church of Christ and Wichita Bible Holiness Church in Wichita, Kansas.  She left behind many friends. The Lord provided the Morgan family and Joanne Morrison to embrace her during her time in Kansas.  She dearly loved the Lord but was often beset by feelings of un-worthiness from a past that continued to haunt her and that caught up with her in the form of the liver disease that took her life.  She had a heart of gold and would go without for anyone in need.  She knew Jesus and aspired to be worthy of entry into heaven even though she knew His saving grace would carry her. She was a hard worker, diligent in any task she undertook, and had exacting standards.  She loved to travel with Hawaii and any beach on her bucket list.  She went to be with our Lord and Savior and our Heavenly Father, Jehovah at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice ward at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas on August 16th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m..  Tammy’s wishes were to be cremated and sent back to Ohio to be with family.  Tammy had a loving, caring, generous spirit and she is sorely missed.
