Vada is survived by her children Kevin D. Thomas (Tina), Arthur James Thomas Jr., Jamila Cox, Aisha Seals (Catherine). Jamaal Thomas (Maria), and Moeshae Thomas (Matt); sisters Selma Rogers (Byron) and Carmane Russel; brother Duane Nichols; sisters Selma; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
