Van Edward Turner, 77, of Wichita, Kansas, born August 23, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, passed away December 22, 2025. He served in the U.S. Army and received the Medal of Valor.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wilma Turner; his children, Chastity Buchanan, Vanessa Turner, Crystal Franks, Brandon Buchanan, Ashley Buchanan, and Monique Buchanan; his siblings; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Charity Buchanan.
