Willis Lewis, Jr. Obituary

Willis Earl Lewis Jr. was born March 7th, 1987 to Willis Earl Lewis and Inga Louise (Rogers) Lewis.  Willis was the 3rd child from this union.  His family called him Willis, but his friends call him "Will".  Willis never met a stranger.

Willis attended USD 259 and USD 312 for his schooling.  Willis eventually attended Job Corp to complete his high school diploma.  Willis loved to read.  When he was in the 9th grade he test at the 12th grade reading level.  As a child and teenager, you could always find a book in his back pocket.  As an adult we would meet at the Wichita Library and talk.  He was there getting books.

Before living in Winfield, KS, Willis lived with and helped take care of his grandfather, Whitfield Rogers Jr., who precedes him in death.  Willis spent about 7 years in Winfield, KS.  He worked several different jobs from cook to trash collector.  While in Winfield he tutored adults getting their G.E.D.  He also studied many religions.  Although he was baptized early on in his life, Willis would practice the Catholic doctrine until his death.  He was drawn to this doctrine because 2 of his children were being raised Catholic.  When Willis moved back to Wichita in 2020 he worked at Taco Bell while he and his fiancé Ainslee Nichols-Clary started a business called Management and More LLC.

Willis had so many people who he loved waiting for him on the other side.  His Irish twin Danielle Lewis, Aunt Regina Rogers, his Grandparents Alametria and Whitfield Rogers Jr. and so many more.

Willis leaves to mourn him his parents Inga Rogers and Willis Lewis and bonus mother Lesia Rogers; sisters Cherri Glenn, Keosha Lewis-Porter and Carrie Brown, along with his bonus siblings Kevin and Stephanie Price.  Willis leaves behind 4 children; Trinity Lewis 17, Mia Rose Lewis 11, Abigail Lewis 10, Tinlee Lewis 9 months, fiancé Ainslee Nichols-Clary; 3 bonus children Chuck 13, Kinslee 12 and Khloee 4 that he called his own; brother-in-laws Dion Glenn and Edward Porter; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn his death.
